Home appliances were the best-selling items in the first half through OLX. The conclusion is the survey of the largest market of classified used products in the country. Electronics and mobile phones occupy the vice-leadership, followed by furniture, computer and auto parts.

These are products that everyone has at home and that yield good business both for those who sell, as detachment and extra income, as for those who buy, with more advantageous prices. Not by chance the three categories together moved 39% of all consumer goods commercializations through the platform in 2024” VP of Consumer Goods and Consumer Goods of the OLX Group.
The survey Seller Profile, conducted by OLX in April 2025, with 800 respondents, shows that the Brazilians interviewed estimate to raise, on average, R$ 2 thousand with the sale of unused items, which already makes the difference in the budget.
Most sought after categories
The items of auto parts were the most sought after in the first half of 2025. Secondly, were the appliances, followed by furniture, electronics and cell phones, and fashion and beauty.
Subcategories

The second place was with cell phones & smartphones, followed by the de refrigerators and freezers. Complete the first five placed motorcycle parts and accessories and items for cycling.
How to make an online purchase more safely
- Do not disclose your personal data or your mobile number;
- Be wary of prices or offers far below the market;
- Check the platform for information about the seller, such as account time, company registration, if applicable, and licenses;
