Founded with the purpose of simplifying and unifying the management of all flexible benefits, premiums, salary advances and corporate expenses in one application, the Ecx Pay completes one year of operation with the brand of R$ 115 million in total volume of payments (TPV).
The corporate multi-benefit card startup is currently processing R$ 24 million per month in transactions and serves a base of 1,200 companies and 50 thousand users. The expansion plan is expected to quadruple this volume by the end of 2025, moving R$ 400 million annually.
“The benefits market moves about R$ 150 billion per year in Brazil, and some companies have already reached R$ 1 billion in monthly TPV in less than five years.We will compete head-on, bringing as a differential the unification of all the essential financial benefits for HR in a single” platform, says Joao Henrique Innecco, co-founder of Ecx Pay.
In addition to focusing corporate benefits on a single card, which can be physical or virtual, an option that reduces implementation and logistics costs for HR managers and also for the employee, who can access the benefit from the first day of work.
The virtual option has also been pleasing to meet ESG objectives within the client companies & the Ecx Pay platform also offers the AnteciPay, a salary anticipation solution that allows the company to release up to 30% of salary as credit for purchases on the card. The HR manager defines the limit and the types of store that the card can be used. The benefit has costs managed by the platform and is integrated into the payroll, allowing purchases up to 45 days in advance.
The anticipation of salary is a solution that solves a very common pain of the Brazilian. According to the Consumer Debt and Inadmplence Survey, every four Brazilians, three do not have R$ 200 to spare between the salary cycles. “We found that 87% of purchases made with AnteciPay by our users are of basic needs such as food and health, in an average ticket of R$ 219 reais. It is a solution that on the one hand prevents employees from accumulating debts or abusive interest and, on the other hand, improves the cash flow of the company Inn increases the satisfaction.
All Ecx Pay users have access to exclusive discounts of up to 70% on partner networks such as Pay Less, Drugsil, Droga Raia, Daki, Petlove and Chefs Club. Another option that the card gives is to enable the withdrawal of prizes and bonuses for employees directly by the card.
In 2025, Ecx Pay plans to launch two new features. One of them is to transform the benefits card into a corporate card, helping companies to manage more easily the expenses of employees with trips and expenses of the office and day to day. Within this modality, Ecx Pay wants to offer a specific functionality to assist companies in the management of vehicle fleets, supporting the control of expenses with maintenance and supply of vehicles.
